Before you travel
Mountain weather can differ from Baku. Ask about winter tyres, chains, roadside assistance and route approval. Check forecasts and road access shortly before travel.
During your rental
Allow daylight and flexibility. If conditions are unsuitable, postpone or use an appropriate local transfer. Do not treat a general SUV booking as confirmation that every winter route is safe.
Connect the advice to your booking
Send the planned dates and route directly on WhatsApp. Ask for vehicle-specific requirements and the complete written quote before paying. Refer to our airport collection and foreign driver guides for the next steps.
Build a weather-dependent plan
A mountain itinerary should include a decision point before departure: check current weather and route conditions with your accommodation, destination and rental representative. Ask which tyres and equipment are supplied on the exact car and whether your planned route is approved. An SUV badge alone does not establish winter suitability. Keep enough time to arrive before dark and allow space in the schedule to postpone the drive if conditions change. Save contact numbers and offline directions before leaving Baku. Agree what assistance procedure applies if you cannot continue. Choose an alternative overnight stay or activity rather than treating a fixed booking as a reason to drive in unsuitable conditions.
